Remedi is Cresco Labs’ line of medical cannabis products. In the last year, the product was rebranded and reformulated, initially focusing on the Daily Care CBD tincture and softgels, which can be sold legally in every state. Following the release of Daily Care were Remedi’s Relief and Rest products, which both contain THC.

When cannabis became legal in Illinois there was a huge rush to create collateral for dispensaries. While we had done a lot of heavy lifting on the up-front of the Remedi brand—including many rigorous rounds of the brand guidelines—we had not yet created a more campaignable look and feel for the brand. The soft relaunch of brand first started to come to life with the help of the talented photographer Zoe Rain based on the photography guidelines I had created for the Remedi brand guide. From there we used photography, pattern, icons, and color to pull together a few informational pieces that would be used as a guide for customers looking for the right product to meet their wellness goals.

Photography:

The process of photography started with the creation of the Remedi brand guidelines, which contained example images and a list of Do’s and Do Not’s. Photographer Zoe Rain took this information and came up with many scenarios in which the product would come to life on set. Brand Manager Alex Quigley and I were on set to guide specifics and make sure we were getting the shots we were looking for.
